Overview:
This programme will be delivered at our Ravine Community Nature Reserve and Social Enterprise.
Based on the grounds of Knockbracken Health Care Park, our 20 acre Nature Reserve is situated 5 miles from Belfast City Centre and is home to our Explore and Market Garden Social Enterprises.
The programme provides a unique nature-based environment for accredited training and to gain work experience in a variety of nature-based career paths, allowing young people to develop key employability and life skills while learning practical skills from industry professionals.
The programme will focus on:
- Developing practical and employability skills
- Building confidence, self-esteem, connection and routine
- Supporting progression into employment, training, or education
- Delivering activity in a nature-based environment
